Explore the capital Havana for 3 days, focusing on Cuban people and visiting dance companies, learning how to salsa along the way! Visit the UNESCO sight Plaza de Armas and other historic sights.
Travel to Las Terrazas, admiring the natural beauty en route. Stroll around the plantations, tasting fruit, coffee, seeing how tobacco is grown and visit the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Sierra del Rosario.
Swim or snorkel in the Cueva de los Peces, a 70-metre deep cenote and onto Cienfuegos, exploring the Gran Parque Topes de Collantes and the El Nicho waterfalls.
Enjoy the drive along the coastal road to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Trinidad and learn a little more salsa whilst in Trinidad.
Next stop, Remedios, an area relatively untouched by tourists, so really off the beaten track to the sugar estate of Manaca Iznaga and onto visiting small towns, which are truly Cuban.
Then Varadero for some last minute history before some R&R time for a few days, before heading back to Havana
